The good point about Japanese cars which could not be ignored was that they were economic, that is so much beneficial financially, owned a very low fuel consumption. This paved the way of Japanese cars entering American market and then many other European countries. When these cars hit the markets, it became clear that they need some modifications on their various parts. Such modifications led to the appearance of a new field which is called car tuning. The interesting point is that tuning gained much more popularity during 1990s when the intensive widespread of some video games introduced and popularized car tuning among the young. It was a video game called 'Gran Turismo' which doubled this popularity. The game contained display of some modified splendid rally cars which could easily travel up every rough, difficult route.
